this is whats wrong these days, stan can get fucked no time for the knob

His version of events differ from hers as they would do. But he has pleaded for witnesses, admitted slapping her and questioned where the bruising was if her version of events were true given that she was papped immediately after. He slapped so he's a **** for doing that but why is she stating this now. Out of the limelight perhaps. She's had a book out since then that didn't mention any of what she now claims.

Tbh it starts off with a few angry liverpool fans but i guarantee you most of the more serious shit is not from the pool fans.. just comes from bitter racist and people that like to cause trouble(act like pool fans).. and lol at digging up that old shit about him punching the women he said his peace about it.. move on christ.

That you view a few Neanderthals spouting racist shite on a social network to be worse than beating a woman up tells us all we need to know about you.
Sadly, I am no longer remotely surprised by your infantile caveman logic.

Re: Stan Collymore on Talksport

A few women friends have expressed surprise that with his history of violence against women that he is actually on the radio at all, and people wonder why football does not attract more women, it says a lot about Talksport as well

Re: Stan Collymore on Talksport

My take is its the internet ffs and all kinds of shit gets written, just spend a day in the cellar ffs.

This is his attempt at trying, way too hard imo, to become some sort of self appointed media spokesman against folk saying nasty stuff on the web and frankly, its nowt more than an attempt at self publicity.

Wish i had a fiver for every time at school all them years ago some kid said to another, "im gunna fucking kill you" etc. Nobody meant it, it was jsut words but of course, no one felt the urge to get offended by everything and anything back then.

Stan, if its all too much for you fella, discontinue with your accounts!

If he was walking down the street and someone shouted the same abuse he's received on Twitter at him, they'd be arrested. Why should it be any different because they're sat behnd a computer?

Re: Stan Collymore on Talksport

I don't think its right that a choice has to be between staying on social media, receiving death threats and racist abuse and leaving all together.

Also don't think having a criminal record makes a person fair game for racist abuse and death threats.

We all know his record, and I don't think he can have any complaints if he cops it over Ulrika. But the other stuff is not acceptable to anyone and is a criminal offence.

Re: Stan Collymore on Talksport

I really don't understand how people can bring up events from his past as justification for racist abuse or death threats. To me they are irrelevant. If you want to call him a woman beater, a moron or a c**t of the highest order, then by all means go ahead, but death threats and racism are inexcusable and I don't really see how anyone can see it differently. The fact that these cretins are doing it because he gave his opinion that a player of the team they support dived for a penalty (which he did, not that it really matters) is truly ridiculous. Too many people think the internet is a free pass to just ignore the law and do whatever you want. If you called his phone and left him an answering machine message like some of the messages on twitter then I very much doubt anyone would have any sympathy when you got into trouble, so I don't see why the internet should be seen any differently. People should be held accountable for what they say, whatever the medium imo

You've put this very well, moomba. Whatever anyone thinks of Collymore or his past doesn't give licence to act like a cowardly braying mob.

Not all targets of this sort of behaviour have a lurid history either.

This is shithouse human behaviour and he is right to air the issue.
