Two faced city fans

Grew up in Liverpool in the 70s. Supported city all my life. Stood on Kop with mates many a time. Even wore City colours. Yes, we always lost and hardly ever scored but no hassle. Thes days live in Newcastle. Sit with mates and have banter. You my friend are typical key board hard man ...... Not.

Sat in the kop once, no colours and was with a couple of mickeys, when Phelan scored an own goal in front of the kop i just shouted YOU FUKIN DICK,was then turned on by a few binrats then next minute the stewards came in and walked me down the steps whilst i was being jostled with a few digs aimed at me by lovely kopites and was grobbed on by a young lad with his dad, dirty knuts...and that was in the 90s too. Oh, and fuk the fans love in, its hatred for as long as the match is going on, creates the atmos and part of the whole matchday experience.

In the Stretford End in 92 when Curle scored the penalty to make it 1-1 there must have been 100 blues stood at the back going mental, we've all done it and I had no beef with the Germans in with us at 101/102 last night, good natured lads.

The walk to the ground was interesting as there were just cans and bottles scattered about. I spoke to a copper who said they had drank in the shambles then a Whetherspoon and then the offy for the walk. Given the amount of booze they had in them they seemed quite well behaved! Save for the littering and the peeing against the wall. I walked past people queuing to get in the ground before they had opened the gates. I don't think I have seen that before. The people queuing were massive fellas with German colours on. I got in the ground and knew there would be trouble.

City never had any fans back in those days so you must be mistaken. We also never took any to Old Trafford

I mean LOOK

Before you start calling fellow Blues "disgusting" you should listen to their side of the story. In 314 my brother was kicked in the back by a Borussia fan and they started spitting! Wherever that was I'm going to react! The police came over and was sympathetic to us saying the club have fuckd up big time. So before you slag fellow blues try and find a balanced view? Go in a home end show respect by sitting on your hands and not ballooning I've no problem with that but kicking and spitting? No chance am I turning the other cheek! Football isn't football without tribalism. It was handbags last night, few years ago it would of been carnage. We have a visiting section for a reason?

So the police were also inciting fans then? The police should have just been saying something along the lines of; 'yes we understand where you are coming from and we will put it in our reports to the Club', they should not have been making statements like you have reported there and especially with that language. If a policeman had said anything like that to me I would have taken his/her number and reported him/her because that is incitement as well as foul language.

I tried that once outside Anfield...It ended poorly for me

Why do people judge other City fans and presume the worst?

I was proud of our fans around me in 115 last night. They didn't let their fans bully us and take the piss in OUR BLOCK.

These fans weren't stood in 115 keeping their heads down, or having a laugh with their mates, they were goading us and those that got one, deserved a slap.

It kicked off because one idiot at the front turned round and started climbing up seats to get close to one of the City fans, there were little kids in that area, he was being an idiot and got what he deserved!

On the plus side it added an edge to the game which boosted the atmosphere - when we went ahead that's the loudest it's been this season.

Oh, and I found a pound on the floor, quality!

Great post. If it had been up to some of the posters on this thread, they would have offered to vacate their seats so more Germans could come in and have the whole of the South Stand. That way they could show how very modern they are.
