It didn't that is true, but it did and their public response is what people seem annoyed with

No one is saying this didn't need internaly investigating and proportionate punishment dealt out.

What people find pathetic is the GMP action, the premier league statement, cunts like Ian Herbert tarring us as scum fans, and again the clubs contrition to every voice that likes to find fault with us.

A simple statement on the day of
"We are aware of a social media post going round and are investigating"
After warning the children involved another statememt, "After an internal investigation those involved have been reasonably punished, we find this the close of the matter"

Refering the children to GMP and apologising for it repeatedly like we were criminals, while also allowing the press confrence to be a circus of bolloclks is down the club.

If we were playing wolves this weekend this sorry episode would have be done and forgotten within days.

City made next to no effort to identify the culprits, when they were challenged as to why the stewards didn't take action they said they ' didn't want to endanger the stewards ' same answer as to why they let the scousers out at the same time rather than holding them back at the end

Sir Bobby wasn't a horrible rag prick, he was a rag a great player a gentleman and a legend within and outside of the game. He shouldn't be disrespected in any way, nor should these silly young boys be charged with anything they are guilty of being nothing more than being silly and childish they need educating.
I used to love the comparrison when I was a kid, who was better Bell Lee Summerbee or Best Law Charlton, we won our boys were better IMO.
Maybe I'm from a diffrenet era but it is very easy for me to say Bobby Charlton was a great player and may he Rest in peace.

You shouldn't judge your self by the standards of others. Especially LFC.

There's a reason why they are pretty much universally hated by fans of every other club in England.

Our club and our fans are simply better than them.
