It's irrelevant to this but most ebikes have a walk mode which will move them independently of peddling. It's there in case you get stuck on a monster hill and need assistance pushing the heavier than normal bike up to the top.Unless the video has been speeded up they are going much faster than you can on an electric bicycle and they are not pedalling. An electric bicycle has to be pedalled. It assists the rider. You cannot move an electric bicycle without pedalling.
The Times is reporting they were riding a £4000 Sur-Ron electric motorbike.
