Yeah I missed a trick there. Tbf I'm in work and glancing the forum when I get 5 minutes. I should probably refrain from posting until I've got time to read threads properly! Haha!

Yet another summer where we haven't improved the deficiencies in our squad. The likes of Zaba, Kolarov, Yaya, Mangala and Nasri needed to be moved on this time last year.

We won't win the league with this squad. There's too many weaknesses and once again we've spent a fortune on attacking options.

He knew we needed at least one CB, just buy Stones and get it done with. Buying nice young talent that we might see in 2 years time is lovely, but it's not a necessity and we needed 3/4 top class additions to the squad after Gundogan and we've added 0.

I'm not going to panic but at present it does look like the squad is very unbalanced.

That's why I started the thread. Time will tell if Txiki is successful or not.

I cant see this team playing possession football without any replacement for Nasri and Yaya.
It's nice to buy players who can assist/score in the final third but we have to get there first.
