Txiki Begiristain

Stones was supposed to be shit. Nolito was supposed to be shit. Sterling was supposed to be shit. - According to people here.

Goes to show that Pep and Txiki knows more about football than bluemoon armchair pundits.

I 100% trust them and was a bit disappointed when we pulled out of the Pogba race, let's not kid ourselves if Pep wanted Pogba he'd already be here, money isn't an object. But if Pep doesn't think we need Pogba then we don't need Pogba.

Trust in Pep (and Txiki).

With Txiki and him holding out selling Bony and waiting until it's close to the deadline day is genius as now his value is only getting higher as the deadline approaches, injuries have come up for teams here and there. West Ham missed out on Benteke and lost Andre Ayew. Bony might not look so bad now for them.

Big day for him today.

We can't continue to have a DOF only doing half his job. Something is not completely right, whether it's our strategy in transferring players in and out, our wage structure, bad negotiators, bad relations with player managers, I don't know.

If Benteke can go for 30 mill after being rejected by his manager, then Bony should at least get 20 mill. Sakho offered high teens from memory, and he's worse than Mangala.

He's got today to fix it.

Begiristain's best window since he joined the club, and arguably the club's best window since the take over. The proof of the pudding will be in the eating over the next five years.

best window, not just for this season, but well on the way with Jesus, Moreno , Zincheko and Rulli to winning next summers window as well. Next summer should only need fullbacks, a centreback and a centre midfielder and we will be pretty well set for years. Especially with our own. u 18 s to add.

Yes, that's my feeling too on it. It's not just been a window for this season, it's been a window that sets us up for years to come. We should have minimal turnover of players in the coming few years with Pep in charge.

Angelino and Maffeo may negate the need for new full backs. The central defender could well be Denayer or Tosin. With Brahim joining first team training and the continued development of Rodney Kongolo, Jake Davenport and others, I hope that we don't bring in a lot of new players in the next window.
