Txiki & Pep met in Amsterdam yesterday

Did they sample the delights of Amsterdam? have some whacky backy and a trip to the Red Light District? ;P

Even ahead of this news, only the most naive of people would think that Pep wouldn't already be doing some "unofficial" work for the club ahead of his summer move here. Bayern may or may not be annoyed about it but they'd be daft to think he's not already making plans for his time as City manager. At the same time, I'm sure Pep is still doing the Bayern job to the best of his ability and he's professional enough not to let these things impact on each other. It always made me laugh when Moyes made an excuse for United's poor season under him, saying "don't forget but I only started working for the club on July 1st". Yeah, course you fucking did Gollum - so what the fuck were you doing in the 7 or 8 intervening weeks between you being announced as the Rags' next manager and you officially starting work there? I somehow doubt he was sat on his arse all that time doing fuck all!

This must have gone down so badly in Munich. I wonder how far Pep can push Bayern before they consider getting rid before the end of the season.

Oh to be a fly on the wall at their training ground this morning. No way this has gone down well. The nature of the meeting IMO had to be something very important for them to have to meet face to face in a major European city. If I had to guess some kind of final decisions on things which Txiki can get on with whilst Pep finishes up the season at Bayern. If there'd been a players' agent there the papers I reckon the same photographer would've clocked them too. Seems more likely that it was an internal City meeting rather than one with a third party.
