Totally disagree , no way will we buy & ship out 9 or 10 players, no need to. I believe you will see a transformation in a lot of the players & certainly in the way we set up, team ethic , work rate etc. we're going to be scratching our heads as to how some of our players were so shit this year. As always there will be one or two who are beyond help as they are just not good enough but not many.I think any kind of assessment of the season as a whole leaves him with far more questions than answers. Maybe it's just me but I can't marry Pep's brand of football with our current squad. He's a top coach but he isn't a miracle worker and the notion that he's going to come in and suddenly we're going to see a whole new set of characteristics in these players is a bit fantastical. We can't realistically expect 11 new players but equally if you add in the three big ones from last summer I reckon we will be looking at a team with a total of 9/10 new players.

Pep has that ability, like whisky nose, to elevate players...the good become very good, the very good world class.... There's a number in this current team who were bought for that very reason...
I said 9 or 10 if you include the three big ones from last season. So six or seven this summer, and that for me would include at least one or two who come up from the academy. I've made a list elsewhere but IMO these players are certainly gone: Caballero Demichelis, Kolarov, Fernando, Bony, Navas. There's six there. Without mentioning Yaya. I'd be really really surprised if five players didn't come in, all of pure quality. And that's me being very conservative.
Could also be discussions about non-playing staff in's and out's.

What constitutes an overhaul these days? For me anything that involves five in like the summer of 2013 isn't far off an overhaul. Maybe better to call it a refreshing of the squad!

Agree with this entirely. For me the biggest concern is the fullbacks, it's one of the most important positions in a Pep system and if we don't address this I'm worried we'll continually see the same failings.
