Typical City !!

If the bloody thing would have worked I would have been OK, but once you get a warning that your credit card security may have been comprimised would you just pop off to work and leave it?
That would be childish.

I do wish people would read what is actually written before this stupid knee jerk reaction of continually protecting this club comes into play.

Your luck to live near by - I live over 250 miles away so I have to do most things over the phone or internet.

I waited 7 hours on the phone for my Hamburg ticket
I got the wrong kit sent to me (after having to wait in for the courier) when I ordered the orange kit. (Not wrong size - wrong COLOUR)
I ordered a LCS shirt 2 weeks back and for some unknown reason it got sent to my Sister !!
I'm not picking holes, just stating facts.

The sad thing is I could have written this e mail last week, I knew they would cock up.

Are you on your credit card company's website hitting refresh on your account statement every 30 seconds or something? What exactly are you doing at home out of concern for the security of your credit card number that you wouldn't be able to do at work? You just make one call to your credit card company and alert them to the situation. Five minutes. Problem solved. You can rest easy and get on with work.

And if you think about it, City were just doing you a favor by not sending you the orange shirt.

Typical city. What a stupid statement. British airways, google, yahoo and apple etc etc etc all hugh corporations have fucked up big launches. Poor Me me me syndrome.

I would like to say "Go and f*** yourself" but I realise thats not allowed, so I won't.

I wasn't trying to buy anything from BA, Google etc etc was I ?

I'm not looking for a shoulder to cry on, just a decent level of performance that I am paying for.

If you saved up for months to buy a TV, went down to Currys with your cash in your hand and they wouldn't let you in the door what would you do?
Clap ?

I'm a football coach mate. I work with young offenders. It's a little difficult to wander around the field with your lap top to be honest. (plus the little darlings would try and nick it!) Plus you obviously don't have the same credit card company as me. The only time I phone them is if I'm going on holiday to India and I want to find out what the weather is like.

But REALLY, should I (and other City Fans) have to go through this security problem? I'm not trying to buy a dodgy Rolex in a pub am I?

FFS how is it a let down / bollocks? The site wont be able to handle all the people constantly trying to view it at once, if people took there time rather than bunking off school / work and were sensible about it, it would be working fine. You've only gone and broken it yourselves by being far too eager...

Well, advertising that the first 2500 people would get Doves tickets didn't help, did it ?
Who did that?
City themselves.

This situation would be more like if the automatic doors had failed for some reason. In which case I wouldn't get in such a hissy fit over it, as that wouldn't solve the situation or help anyone. It would actually make the situation worse.
