Because it's these kind of people(not specifically saying Liam's mates or whatever) that wouldn't turn up for Leicester, Notts County or Villa home but still wanted and got priority over those with less points who did go to one or more of those games for the semi and final.

Now, fairly, those who go in the early rounds get first dibs on the final tickets for the tournament they've bothered to go and support the team in.

Also probably means the same thing in the FA/Carling Cup schemes as well, so those semi's at Wembley or away at Old Trafford, Anfield, Stamford Bridge we could get in...don't complain.

But should it really matter where you acquired those loyalty points from? Whether they've been acquired going to the Swamp away every year rather than every wet midweek third round League Cup game since the points introduction if you've got more points, in my opinion you should et first dibs. I've got most of my points from home cup games and the ocassional away game anyway. If you've been going to Cup games your points should be high enough to get a ticket by rights.

I don't agree sorry, think that just maintains a status quo who were of the right age at the right time. I think those who now get choosy should give the spot up to those who have less points but have gone to the less attractive games trying to catch up but don't get the chance because the established lot turn up for their scouse and united away sitting on years of points because once upon a time when it was much cheaper they actually bothered turning up to virtually everything.

You have to ask yourself how many of these people went to every cup game at home last year. The fact is everyone moaning about it now didnt, this is a response to the ive got xxx points, im gonna watch the Nott's County game on TV.

Liam, the people telling you to stop moaning and deal with it are prob the saem people who got shafted last year. And as for the guy who knew nothing about it ? well thats your own fault, if you didnt read the renewal pack then what do you want the club to do, phone every one in person ?

LMFAO

I think it is spot on even though the club haven't done it for the reason's why i think it is spot on.

My reason - I have said it before, who is more loyal, someone who has gone for 3 years and not been for 3 years or someone who has not been for 3 years and then gone for the next 3 years. Both have same points. To me if you go regularly at this moment in time you deserve to go than someone who hasn't been for 3 years

The club's reason is basically for getting more supporters signed up for the scheme.

Did you make a complain in the FA cup semi or final.....? that was the time to do it.

It's way to late now, and it's not like their wasnt enough warning.

I know.

I don't want to come across like I'm moaning but I know a few loyal fans who will miss out now and it's not fair.

I thought they would have at least put it on sale to non-members after the cup scheme had their priority.

This happened in the final last year, my dad had a season ticket for four years, been going for 40+ years before that. didnt get a sniff over first year holder with less than a 1000 points because of the cup scheme.

i posted about it last season, told he would have got one if he was a reall fan as he would have enough points.

I feel the higher point City fans shafted others last season.

The point here is though, that he only had a ticket for 4 years. If he had supported the team for 40+years, then he would have the points to show for it?

i saw on another thread it was between 25 and 30 people lol :)

But as one of the perks is being able to be on the same flight as the squad when travelling abroad, realistically how many could have been invited and the club ensure they could honour that promise ? We must take around 50 to 60 staff and players on that flight so how many does the plane hold, I'm guessing around 150, all of a sudden 25 to 30 could be a high percentage take up ? We would need to know how many were actually offered to make any judgement on how superbia was recieved

no he wouldn't because we haven't had points for those 40+ years.
