There will be so many loop holes it will not be funny.

I mean for a start they allow the income from selling players to count, so go out and sign 10 players you don't need two weeks before the rules come in who you know another club wants and then sell them on 3 weeks later at a discount.

Get your mates to buy huge exec boxes, would like to see UEFA trying to sue the Emirates because someone from Dubai who owes the Sheiks family a 20billion favour gives us a leg up, have business's such as hotels as match day revenue

Buy absolutely every capital item and invest in everything before it starts so your costs are virtually nil.

Set up huge signing on fees that you pay up front with clauses on payback that can be accounted for up front and mean lower wages

Set up your own sports wear company and then sponsor only players from your team 5m a year to wear your boots. The Sheikh could easily enough buy a sports wear company.

Sponsor your best players to be Abu Dhabi ambassadors 5m a year from the Abu Dhabi government for a few posters and a few visits and it just happens randomly that only city players get the gig.

You can go on and on and on and there will be ways round it, footballs lawyers and rules will never get around the law as business's , bankers and oil men can and they are dreaming if they think it will work. The be all and end all is football needs to act but those who really want to will get round it easily.

The main thing here is that this will attack players earning potential and in any sport when this happens you usually end up with splits and all sorts of trouble!

Dont know if this would work or not as im not an accountant. But don't pay the players a wage, pay them a dividend instead, problem solved (or is this too simplistic?).

Wouldn't be able to justify that to the tax people, they would look on many of the schemes mentioned in this thread as money laundering.
It's got going to be as simple to put one over on Uefa as some seem to think.

Impossible to police. What is to stop City giving "some rich guy" his own box at a cost of say £200M per season. This then becomes ticket revenue.

I don't agree with your response. Hamann Pineapple is perfectly correct (I don't give a stuff about your first post).

There is no way UEFA can prevent us from selling things (TV rights to exhibition matches in UAE, for example) at whatever prices we can get for them. And with well connected, wealthy owners we can probably raise more than enough money this way. What are UEFA to do? Monitor and block all of our sales efforts? Ridiculous, unworkable, and illegal.
