Is there anyone who seriously doubts that yesterday's decision is not the one that UEFA would have taken if left to their own devices (otherwise they wouldn't have opened the disciplinary case in the first place) but one that is dictated by their belated realisation of the shitstorm they would create for themselves if they did?
