We have proven the cartel and UEFA are corrupt and fuel their hatred through our success on the pitch - if they take us off it they have won.

Their current and previous sanctions prove they are utterly corrupt. Turning FFP into an elite club protection scam, changing the toolkit after we had submitted our accounts, breaching the 2012 settlement and now using hacked/stolen out of context emails as a false pretext to ban us for 2 years. It's really pretty obvious friend.

UEFA - a law unto themselves. I don’t believe they need to prove the case. They’ve got the backing of the whole of Europe & they know it. They believe they’ve won because they’re arrogant. But unfortunately they make the rules - even if they move the goalposts when they want. This hasn’t ever been challenged so they continue to do it. None of the speculation on here convinces me that we’ll win - the system is too corrupt & the implications so dramatic.

I said in the Liverpool hacking thread that absolutely nothing would come of that, and it didn’t.

CAS publish their opinions though.

Our appeal will be divided into parts and they'll answer each part with a judgement.

And if part of City's appeal is their "irrefutable proof" and that UEFA didn't let them hear it, CAS will write a scathing opinion about it.

Not sure they would. The CAS response would be dimplomatically worded. E.g CAS described the leaks as "worrying". That is actually very strong wording but they will likely stop well short of outright criticism.

You would need a balanced piece of journalism to read between the lines of the judgement and where would we find such a thing?

I (& all City fans) know all that is true but it’s not accepted by the rest of Europe. We have yet to prove it to CAS

They are out to destroy us. Forget a fine or the 2 year ban, this is an all out attempt to put us so far back it will make it so difficult to catch up again with those clubs who are behind it all.

My worry exactly. Everyone knows secretly that UEFA & FFP are both corrupt & are in place to stop our march to the top of Europe. However, it suits the rest of Europe to keep us out which is why the big 6 clubs have pushed UEFA into this action. Despite our protestations both on here & in public. Nobody believes or supports our claim
