Lovely.

Pretty much how I feel too. I'm at the point where I don't think it really matters THAT much to me what the outcome it. The truth is the narrative has long been set by the people you mention. I'm okay with City whether it's this incarnation or a different one.

I've said this elsewhere but pay particular attention to one Peter Moore at Liverpool. He's the king of the snakes, and the man who has the power and the access to resources to really help orchestrate a smear campaign. His bosses own newspapers, they sit with big Republicans in the States and break nationalist bread. It is no coincidence that so many New York Times associated newspapers and media outlets have been quite so anti City.

Also pay particular attention to Rory Smith. A very very dangerous kind of hipster dickhead. Him and his pal Tariq are probably on some kind of retainer from the Scousers the amount of pole greasing they do whenever Kloppo and co are mentioned.

Great post overall, but particularly good call out on Smith who seems to have found a way to get regular airtime on bbc 5live sport, for no apparent or good reason. Most convenient, for some.

It is bollocks, tbf. He’s extremely highly regarded, for good reason. No idea why you’re trying to downplay his reputation.
Never heard such bollocks. He is known as being one of the very best. Its barely worth a debate. Doesn't guarantee anything but if we lose its very unlikely to be down to the choice of counsel.

I am just trying to lay out his current record .

He won the prorogation case because the SC was biased in his favour.

On a level playing field , he lost.
That’s a pretty subjective view. Regardless, you’re criticising his recent record by mentioning just two cases (one of which he won). What about, say, the Morrison’s case?

Isn't it the point that neither side will win or lose due to the choice of counsel? Both will be highly professional so it will come down to hard facts.
