I was pretty confident we would get off or a suspended guilty verdict.

I started listening to the price of football pod cast and now I’m bloody nervous

Before going into CAS, UEFA were confident they have a cast iron case against us and it wasn’t based solely on FFP.

Their view was city failed to cooperate with the new investigation and that’s was why the ban was 2 years and city are pinning their hopes on UEFA failed to follow their own procedures by leaking the information before we knew

So the decision is on Monday? I can’t keep up, the pessimist in me thinks we are fucked, at first I thought we would be ok but the way 2020 is going I’m thinking not, then I’m waiting for the the call to strip us of titles etc from that period, it will be fucking open season on us.
Exactly, the fallout if we do get banned is going to be hysterical

But what was it we 'failed to cooperate on'? Was it not producing Etihads accounts (we have no right to do that), or was it perhaps not giving them full access to our internal emails? We presumably have retained the 'we will not comment on stolen emails' message, I don't think UEFA can see them unless we allow them to. I'm still convinced that UEFA have just spat the dummy out in frustration at us. Yves Leterme s denial of any leak suggests to me that they got caught out and haven't got the good grace to back off.

A case not being based solely on FFP would be odd.

I'm no happy-clappy optimist but some of the doom and gloom on here is a bit lacking in perspective.

Sure, this is a major battle in a war that certain clubs and their place-men and shills in the media are waging against us, but that's all it is, one battle. If we win, it's the decisive battle, their last shot. If they win, it's not the end, we re-group, we dust ourselves down and we come back snarling and meaner.

I haven't listened but will. We aren't getting a suspended sentence - for reasons I've explained many times. If CAS sides with UEFA, the breaches are serious and second offences which means they will not interfere with UEFA's sanctions.

This is not a case on co-operation. There is, in my opinion, no way a 2 year sanction is justified for a subjective cooperation charge. City are bound to be able to show co-operation.

Also if there was anything particularly problematic in terms of Etihad, City would have settled this long ago - no way the majority owners would risk contagion into another business for the sake of a ban or fine in City.

We were offered the option of a fine in return for accepting our guilt for what was described as a "technical accounting breach". Which we refused. Hence why I'm a bit dubious about ancoats'' story a few pages back as that was seemingly a better deal than the one his mate says we agreed.

Always wondered whether we declined Ceferin’s offer because we doubted his ability to deliver it (Rather than us being overly confident of our position) in the face of the G14 being hell bent on us being banned.
