Can the $200 mill from the shares issue be used for transfers within FFP I can't see how it can?
It was $480m and we can use it for whatever we want to use it for. The only thing that matters from an FFP point of view is transfer fee amortisation. So if we go out and spend £250m, that goes into the accounts as an expense of £50m a year. If that takes us outside of a 3-year allowable loss then we'd be at risk of failing again. But if we sell someone like Sané and make £100m profit, that essentially takes care of that £50m extra expense for 2 years. The issue from a club point of view is have we got the cash to fund the transfers in the first place. And we will have.

Whether we use it for players or a new stadium in NY (or both) is anyone's guess though.

There's a decent chance we might have joined again before this is sorted TBH
There's a decent chance that Britain will have physically re-attached itself to France before this is sorted.

When the Children of Israel worshipped the Golden Calf after Moses led them out of Egypt into the wilderness, they were punished by God, who wouldn't let them enter the Holy Land until everyone involved had died. Think this is going roughly the same way.

And Teabag said: "City is a land flowing with milk and honey" And he stamped his foot and said:
"It's not fair"
But God said "The blues are my chosen people. So do one."

And it came to pass that Ceferin came down from the mountain and made a great pronouncement:
"City are innocent."
In the land called G16, there was a great wailing and gnashing of teeth. "How can this be?" they cried, "For they have sinned."
And Ceferin said "Der Spiegel have borne false witness against them"
But the people of G16 were not satisfied and there arose a great army. At its head was Gill and his faithful servant Parry and they marched on the citadel of Etihad, crying "Cheat, cheat." They blew their trumpets, but the walls of Etihad did not fall.
"Ban them, ban them" cried the multitude "Or we will wreck their chariots and steal their hubcaps la"
But the people of Etihad stood firm. "Fear not" said their leader Khaldoon and brought forth a great hoard of lawyers.
"Oh, shit" wailed Ceferin "We are done for"
And in the land called Press, Matthew Syed curled up into a ball and was never heard of again.

God will's it

Maybe, just maybe they are simply dragging it out to keep dragging us through the mud. If as City believe, there is no case to answer then it is in everyone's interest, bar ours, to keep dragging it out as long as possible. The more mud you throw the more sticks and it allows the gutter press to keep reminding everyone of our guilt.
Obvious that the UEFA Rags cant find enough evidence to charge us with or they would have done it months ago. Now it's all about UEFA saving its face, in several unofficial reports it's been suggested that in order avoid making themselves look a bunch of lemons theve tried to negotiate another fine which keeps the rest of the G16 able to point their sticky fingers at us, however, it's also suggested that City have told them to.do one and will take the appropriate legal action if UEFA sanction this. This leaves UEFA with the problem of going to court knowing they are likely to.loose an expensive court or court cases or clear us which means they loose faith with the G16 so now they choose to do nothing hoping it will become old news, thoughts folfs !!!
