This was almost enivitable considering all the prejudgements and media briefings.
It looks like EUFA have almost had to go through with this in order to not out themselves as incompetent/corrupt.

They will know that the likely outcome will be a reduction in the ban or its overturned.

They've taken the punt, I'm hoping that we absolutely eviscerate them in court. I really hope the club go hard on this and refuse any behind the scenes face saving deals.

Why go to CAS cant we just go to the biggest and highest court there is ?

The reason is because you can't be fined in civil court and immediately bring it to the Supreme Court under appeal. You have to go through every single step along the way. This is just the first.

Not sure about that. They've basically got until the end of August and remember CAS has already seen the appeal back in November so everything should be set up for an expedited process.

I think UEFA will be desperate for us to see the ban immediately, and City will be desperate to clear themselves immediately.

I think we could see the CAS process done before the end of the season.
