I don't think so, I think it was bollocks.Cracking post mate
Yup. We are capable of doing it. No better team in the world when we are at our best.As I said we will have to beat Real Madrid, and VAR, over 2 rounds. And then another quality side and VAR over 2 rounds. And then another. And then the final. The chances of that happening with all the marginals going against us is negligible
I agree, but whatever makes you think we will be permitted to win their bent competition this season ? That remote possibility went completely out if the window with tonight's announcement.
I think you're wrong about the 2 years allowing them to deal down. Any CL ban would be devastating to our reputation and financially, and they know that. We cant settle for 1 year.
I think the very anti-city part of UEFA (there are levels to this, some are ambivalent, some dislike us but accept us and some are actively going for us) in this investigatory and adjudication panel has made it 2 years specifically because it takes negotiating down to 0 years off the table.
If we'd been given 1 year everyone would expect it to be dealt down by the UEFA top brass, like it was last time, like they have done before with all big club bans.
We are caught in the middle of a UEFA civil war as well as our own fight vs. Them. There will be some people at UEFA who are sickened by this judgement because it has kicked off the legal battle they've been avoiding for ages and they know the consequences of losing.
Are quoting Prestwich Blue there mate ?He’s confident over on Twitter.
This whole investigation has stopped our legal team from pressing on with their workload and I have to say I think UEFA are very, very brave doing what they have done. I would say they are actually somewhat stupid and this will be highlighted in the not too distant future.
They haven’t a fucking clue what we are holding. Not a scoot.
Massive gamble on their part.
Think the mother in law is at the Bingo that night, I'll check.Need to get a pigs head smuggled into the ground, throw it at the UEFA delegation. They do that shit in Spain.
Cheers fella.pep now odds on to leave before next season, 1:2, only 33:1 to start next season.
this is the type of negativity this will generate, and it can't not affect the players.
just a compulsory stop on the journey to a higher competence LenNot sure - see @Tricky_Trev 's post above.
CAS appears to be the only appeal route

we have no right to appeal after CAS and if they uphold the punishment then we have to do the time as they say however we do have the right then to sue UEFA in the civil courts not for the ban to be lifted but for financial losses and bringing the name of the brand down, that would be millions of pounds,we now cant take a hit on the 2 years and accept 1 year or just a fine as we would still be guilty and the damage to the brand has been doneCan someone please confirm if it is *****TRUE*** or ***FALSE***** that the only right City have to challenging this vindictive, malicious, UEFA ruling is through CAS ?
I have been lead to believe we can take this to the highest courts in the land via Switzerland.
One or two posters on here are alleging we have no right to any further appeal after the CAS appeal and adjudication. That their adjudication will be final and legally binding.
That We/City signed an agreement with UEFA agreeing that this will be our only appeals process.
Surely this is not true, with our owner talking about fighting UEFA all the way.
I’m afraid that the damage to city is now already done. Irrespective of outcome, this will hurt city financially massively. At best, an appeal will get the ban reduced to 1 year plus fine but revenue will dive. Worst case is ban and fine stays and city throw the legals at UEFA and there can only be one outcome. It is not just city v uefa but more like city v uefa, every CL club in Europe, every media outlet and every single opposition fan. Sorry, but city can’t beat the system, however corrupt they are. The house wins every time.
The best outcome in the world would be for city to win the CL this year, then get the players to turn their backs at the presentation and do the poznan.
it should have gone through the European courts years ago like the Bosman, why has no one taken this on,is it the costs of doing so
