Our offence appears to have been identified only because Der Spiegel made certain allegations based on emails hacked by Rui Pinto. Up to this point there had been no questioning of our accounts whatsoever, either by our accountants of UEFA's auditors. It seems very strange to me that a newspaper can have provoked such a dramatic reappraisal of work already done by such reputable specialists. And yet the reexamination seems to have gone hand in hand with a total failure to ask rather basic questions such as who is "HH" actually and who is Muhammed? Nor do the IC seem to have had any clear memory of who were related parties in 2014 and who were not. What appears to stand out is UEFA's ignorance of Abu Dhabi and their complete unawareness of it. I would appreciate enlightenment on these concerns if possible PB.
Further concern is that the FFP regulations seem deliberately opaque, so that what is accepted in one year can form the basis of draconian punishments for one of the "new" clubs if necessary later. I think therefore, that City have to challenge the lawfulness of FFP in the ECJ and get it ditched once and for all.
