Ha! I went to Claremont school and had a friend on Cowsbury (sic) Street?

We lived directly off Maine Road opposite the Main Stand.

I used to do a paper round for Jimmy Murphy the former no.2 to Busby? A lovely bloke.

He owned a newsagents on Claremont Road (shops just beyond Kippax Street) funnily enough called Murphy's.
Mate of mine lived on Lowthorpe Street, liked to spray his name on the walls around the area, not called Banksy btw

Small World I also did a Paper round at that same Newsagents.

And your name rings a Bell mate.

I grew up on Horton Road.

We all used to play Footy on the Croft using the Big Doors as Nets.......until the Ball went over the Wall that is.

I disagree with this. Very experienced practitioners can frequently read the mood music based on the way the arbitrators conduct themselves, the questions they ask and the way they interact with the representatives of the respective parties. It's not a foolproof guide but they often have a pretty good idea.

Fair enough petrusha. I am mainly going off my experience supporting NHS legal cases and our barristers and the other sides seemed to be good at raising the respective spirits of their clients. I understand UEFA will have been outlining their position on our "breaches / non-compliance", according to their interpretation of their own rules and procedures that resulted in them giving us a two year ban. If UEFA were confident of their case before the Appeal, as their sources have indicated that they were, then IMHO they would have had to have a shocker to leave the Appeal feeling that they were on to a loser, unless we came up with fresh evidence to undermine their case. We may well have been able come up with fresh evidence and / or show to the judges that UEFA have broken their rules / procedures.

Cheers. Ultimately, the stakes are so high for the club, I struggle to believe they would spin the wheel at CAS without a high level of confidence. My concern on the flip side remains that there is never a certainty in any hearing...

I fully appreciate that having been involved in litigation in the past, as they say sometimes the law’s an ass. I feel more confident having listened to you this morning for the reasons mentioned. Keep up the good work

We are happy with the conduct of the trial ,not anything to do with the outcome ,any feal, nothing, both sides have to declare they are happy with the way it has been conducted, that is al!

true its just a throwaway line by both parties

this is going to be a hard wait until July unless somebody leaks the outcome ? lets hope for the best but fear the worst
for me manchester city and our great fans don't need champions league football. its bent anyway and the officials and now VAR will just fuck us over and over year after year. am going to say it will be ok if we lose because the premier league and cups will be our main aim and european football and uefa can fuck off. even play friendlies go to USA for a couple of games over there

Uefa shouldn't have a position on our pants!

If thats all they have we'll piss it.

I lived on Thornton Road and also played footy on the Croft taking turns in the big exit doors goals. Lost a few balls with hoofed shots. Happy days SidJames.

He doesn’t say our owner is a state, does he?
"isn't really compatible with a struggling business that needs propping up by the state"

If we did anything wrong then we took money from our owner not the state,it is not the first time that i have told him we are not owned by a state,in fact it is several times,i make a point of putting other fans straight
