If it was possible to have the choice of either UEFA's punishment or a reincarnated Peter Swales coming back for another 20 years of dictatorial control of our club then I'd go for UEFA. That would be bad enough but we could still work our way back from that one. There would be no more get-outs with Swales here again.
Oi I fucking heard that

Imagine Swales reincarnated, all his religious followers would be wearing dodgy syrup's and cuban heels.

Make it happen, I could do with a good laugh.

Sorry if this has been asked and answered already, it's a busy thread!

Let's assume City get a 1 year ban....... but then win this years Champs League in August (fingers crossed).

Would we not have the right to be allowed in next year as defending champions - who qualify by right I think - and then Liverpool + those down to fifth can also be in it e.g. Liverpool, Chelsea, Leicester, Man Utd (whom UEFA really want back in).

Can a country have 5 teams in it if one is the defending Champions?
If we are banned, we are banned, doesn't matter if we are defending Champions or the worst team in the world , the clue is in the term "we are banned". Hope this clears things up.

What utter rubbish
What brings you to this conclusion?

So let me get this right, we have page after page of new posts and the optimism has disappeared because Pep wasn't full of the joys of spring after the game tonight.

Everything is guesswork at this time, maybe we should wait and see what happens.

Mate. I’m not sure why I’m being abused. Lol. I want nothing more than this being shoved up uefa and the cartels ass.
I genuinely thought this was the first time post match that pep said we are preparing for arsenal and Madrid rather than talking about points required for next seasons champions league.

he gas done this every game whether asked or not.

maybe I’m paranoid seeing as I work and live somewhere that is 99 percent rags and scouser fans and then me.

the thoughts of my life if we are banned is unthinkable. I don’t have the support of fellow blues every side of me

but trust me I have been in Manchester on a regular basis since 1991

I pray that I’m wrong

No way uefa and their giddy media sycophants would be sitting on their hands and keeping mum if CAS had come down on uefa's side. Pep always tends to downplay a big win out of respect to the other team - that's one reason he's less of a **** than that noncey box of teeth at liverpool.

Also, maybe Pep was asked by UEFA to stop smiling and talking about the Champions League so much, for this one game before Friday. So that nobody can read into anything, before the draw they are so bothered about... just a thought.

What was their reasoning for the delay? It's not like it can affect anything. I don't pay much attention to the draws live, do the press normally get a chance to ask questions?

I can't seem to remember any open QA press sessions myself but I'm struggling for any other reasons why they might have felt it was necessary.

Just catching up with this thread and I'll be honest - I thought Pep seemed a bit downbeat in his interview.

However, I put it down to him feeling that we played in much the same manner tonight as we did on Sunday with two completely different outcomes and this pretty much summing up a frustrating season. This was evidenced by him referencing the Southampton game a few times and to be honest - I felt the same!

Relax mate.. he's not a wum or fishing or anything else. He's a Blue, crapping it over the outcome of this, as are all of us. It's his opinion and a fair point - Pep has definitely made pointed comments about CL next season in the last few weeks, and didn't tonight. That's all. Might be something, might be nothing. We'll find out soon enough.

After a lot of thinking I have come to the conclusion that there are 2 possible outcomes. Either we will be banned or we won't be.
