Apparently Dippers camera phones didn't work "INSIDE'" the stadium, only outside.

That cant be right, I have seen phone photos from inside at the end of the game where those nasty french police are looking at the dipper fans in a very upsetting & hurtfull way?

There was an article in the athletic which had plenty of details and to be fair it sounded awful for the average fan with a ticket.

They then compared historical discrimination of Liverpool (which I have some sympathy for) with the immigrant population near the stadium. That's a stretch but the worse part began when the author made a point that both groups are the first to be blamed when things go wrong.

Again I have some sympathy for that and UEFA and the French govt initial responses were ridiculous, but the journo then blamed most of the non police problems on the locals.

Given the rest of the article it came across as utterly racist and bizarrely one eyed. Pretty shocking as he essentially damned himself with his earlier justification.

I try and read different newspapers online, i.e. the Telegraph and the guardian to get different/opposing views.
The Telegraph is a disgrace. The racist, white, middle class comments on there would shame Yaxley Lennon and BNP. These are now being backed up by uefa statements hence my use of 'illegal north African immigrants'
I have no doubt that criminals from across France travelled to Paris at the thought of 100,00 targets. A lot of them will have been white and French born. To narrow it down to another continent and whose people are of a different colour is shameful.
Fake tickets and jibbing have been forgotten as we now know it was black people who by the way, are illegally in the country.

This is the weird position we are at with media outlets though - investigation, truth and accuracy are not even secondary thoughts anymore.

Will masses of people click on my article which will keep me in a job within a dying industry - then I have done my job.

It's fucking pathetic and I genuinely don't know which outlets I should be trusting anymore.................
