There's probably aliens but the chances of them ever being here is impossible.
No it's not.

Put simply, we have created technology which has out crafts on Mars. That's us, some snotty little civilization just a few thousand years old, technologically speaking.

Imagine if a civilization exists somewhere which was where we are now a million years ago? Their technology would currently be unthinkable. In other words, just because we are only where we are up to now, doesn't mean the other billions of civilizations out there will be too.
So why are they coming here if they are way ahead of us?

Every technology will be limited by the physical laws. IF, and a big IF, the speed of light is truly a speed limit, and the other theories do not hold (worm theories and others) . Then the probability of encounter is very very slim.

Why not? Looking at Mars, it's a barren nothing of a planet, yet we have gone there to have a mooch....

Impossible ?

Physic's says the chances we could have visitors are very very very slim due to the vast distances needed to travel to us.
I assume you mean aliens in the sense of being concious of the cosmos and not bacteria from an asteroid etc ?.

Even travel at the speed of light won't help, unless they have learned how to expand and contract space the distances are just to large.

Our physical laws yes.

Our physical laws yes.

By physical laws, i mean what the universe allows us to do. Not our understanding of the laws.
