So your full of praise for Farrage for wanting refugees into this country ?
No, wanting Christians only suggests he's a fuckwitted bigoted twat.
I can't believe I'm rushing to Farage's defence, but has he actually said that?

According to the Guardian, yes

Yes he has, which is a departure from what he originally stated. What a ****.

Yes.

It's bad enough for Sunni and Shia, at least there are neighbouring countries that will take them," he said. "Where on earth are the Christians going to go? Christians are now a seriously persecuted minority … they are under assault from all sides.
Farage

Christians are being increasingly persecuted across the Middle East and Syria as extreme Islamist elements seek to purge the region of Christianity. If we do not help these people then who will? We must as a nation help Christians who are fleeing Syria to escape death and torture by allowing some to come to the UK.
UKIP website statement attributed to Farage according to some sources

Given that refugees are processed on need it is entirely appropriate that people fleeing religious persecution and civil war between religious factions in their home country have their religion taken into consideration. It is common sense to do so.

I was surprised that he said what he said in the first place, but not that he's subsequently qualified it, presumably after being 'got at' by the party's spin doctors.

I'm not surprised that is his stance, it was just I hadn't heard his later comments and wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt until I had. I'm really fair like that :-) Thanks for your amplification Skash.

I don' think Farage is as bigoted or right-wing as most of his party, just less-so and fiercely ambitious who knows what buttons to press.

If he splits the tory vote up I am all for him haha he will never get in power but will still have an influence on who gets into power. Him and Galloway make me laugh good talkers but batshit crazy.
