I think Foden is England's most naturally talented player. But, he plays in Raheems position and Raheem has so far been England's best player. Grealish also plays in Raheems position. The formation and tactics from Southgate have worked, we are in our second consecutive semi finals. Why would we try to shoehorn 3 players who play in the same position, into the team, when what we are doing is working? Southgate is not a club manager, he does not get to train these players every day, year after year. He has done extremely well to gel them together and instil a fantastic team spirit, in the limited time he has had with them.

If Scotland were in this semi final and had not conceded a goal on the way, you would be wanking your box off.

Exacty! What PizzaGate is doing is clearly working. Stuffing City players in to the max would unscrew the system and not be as effective, no matter how desperate we might be to see Phil. And as in all knockout competitions yer don't need to play well to get through - just a little better than the opposition. Yer only need to play well in one game in about five, i reckon, and it needn't be the final either. Look at CFC - did they play well to turn us over in the CL final? Nah, they just edged it 'cos we didn't play as we could.

Could be worse. If might be Liverpool or the rags in the CL Final and the media were encouraging the whole country to get behind them and your local and all other pubs were chukka full of plastics of all sorts, but all bandwagon jumpers dressed in red shirts and knocking beer flying. Soap opera actors and teachers all getting themselves on camera to say 'you better believe it means more and crap like when all we've done is get to the same stage as fucking Wales did last time round and one step further than Iceland did the same year.

The boozer where I was last night after the national anthems some rags started knocking out the ‘why don’t city fuck off home’ nursery rhymes. Fucking weirdos we have really damaged them.

england fans cannot be so fussy surely. We haven’t won anything since 66! I’ll take playing a bit more cautiously if it means we win something.

the games you mentioned - we won nothing...city battered PSG, which meant nothing after not winning the champions League

city fans used to be the same. We’d have taken any result or style of play if it meant winning. That’s only changed when pep came in - we’ve become football snobs

It’s not as if England played poor either. We battered the Ukraine and played some pretty nice attacking football at times
