Underrated Players from the 90s onwards.

Richard Jonson did quite well at city but was coming to the end of his career when he was here. Think he was rated adequately for his time at city.

Spencer prior was just an average centre back.

Mark Kennedy did very well in his first season and was probably the most exciting player we had at that time. Shame it didn’t work out as he did ok at wolves after leaving. Wand of a left foot.

Jensen was a decent enough left back. Nothing special but decent for the level we were at at the time. Amazing goal against Leeds as well.

For me.

Darren Huckerby. Had a great season 2001/2002. Over shadowed by Goater/Bernabia and Berkovic.

Lucy Mettomo was superb in the 3:1 Goater derby. Remember him making 4 crunching tackles in 5 mins. Sadly got injured soon after and never really came back. Shame I thought he was a potentially cracking partner for Sylvia Distin. (sorry just like making funny girls names out of CIty players! - not in a Graeme Souness type way)

Thought they were both very steady for Joe Royle
 
Robbie Fowler. Scored a goal in 3 which was good for us at the time. Scored in 3 derbies. Sadly lumped in with McMinimum and was unfavourably compared with Anelka. His penalty miss vs Boro I think might be the main reason tbh.

Well according to Wiki, this Ritchie guy played 20 times for City at a time when I would almost certainly have been to the vast majority if not all of them. Have absolute no recollection of him whatsoever. Maybe that’s a sign he wasn’t that bad though.
