Underrated Players from the 90s onwards.

Michael Ball. Thought he was a pretty solid left-back as well as being one of the few players in that team that could pass the ball forwards, to a teammate.

Not sure if this counts, but I'd say James Milner.

Underrated, or undervalued may be a better word, by managers/the club - on his day he would be as good as Steven Gerrard in Centre Mid, and proving his quality and professionalism to this day by still playing for a top PL team aged 36!

I don't remember Garcia playing a single game for City!

Javi was alright though, I agree.

(Somehow) he made 8 appearances during the 16/17 season.

Started away at Middlesbrough in Pep's weirdest ever line-up.

Caballero
Kompany, Otamendi, Kolarov
Navas, Fernandinho, A. Garcia, Clichy
De Bruyne
Jesus, Aguero
Wikipedia: On 27 August 2015, García joined Premier League side Manchester City. He was selected by then-City manager Manuel Pellegrini against Chelsea on 21 February 2016 in the fifth round of the FA Cup.

García made his first Premier League appearance on 17 September 2016, coming on as a 75th-minute substitute in a 4–0 home win against Bournemouth. On 21 September, he started in an EFL Cup match against Swansea City, scoring his first goal for the club in the 2–1 away win. He next started a month later on 26 October, in another EFL Cup match, a 1–0 loss to Manchester United.

In my 30+ years of watching City we have had very few left backs (genuine left footed ones) who were ok and of them i'm struggling to think of really good ones.

Tarnat (but was old)
Clichy
Phelan
Kolarov

I would add Hinchy and Jensen to that list

Andy Morrison
Gerard Wiekens
Kevin Horlock
Darren Huckerby
Going to add Carlo Nash
Jon Macken (did a job for us when needed)
Gareth Barry
Javi Garcia
Gael Clichy
Nash wasnt under rated. He was just very average and rated so

Macken was awful. The spurs goal apart obviously

Garcia. See nash

Clichy/barry and the rest , all decent plyers and rated such! Maybe barry was underated by other fans

If we didnt have Mr Weaver as our number 1, no doubt carlo would of been our number 1. Great keeper.

Macken did a lot for us in winning the balls etc, something other strikers at the club failed to assist wiht.

Other than barry being mentioned, never see any of the other players ive mentioned listed in peoples dream teams.

So for that, I claim they are underrated by our support
