They were so reliant on Ferguson the dictator running every aspect of the club for 20 years that the Trafford shits presumed that there name alone would mean they would continue to be successful when he fucked off, the twats tend to forget that they hadnt won the league for 26 years before he rolled up-they have just gone full circle-hiring and firing managers like they did when Busby stood down.

They have no plan just money.

Didn't The Rags have a sell on clause which entitled them to 30% of the transfer fee should Pogba be moved on. They waived this to secure the deal which is why the other clubs linked couldn't compete
 
The longer United fans blame their managers for their failings, the better.

The clubs problem runs far deeper than the manager in charge. And it's fucking brilliant.

27/11 - West Ham
4/12 - Everton
8/12 - Zorya Luhansk
11/12 - Spurs

I think this run may break them.

They aren't going to beat Arsenal in current form, even Wenger will struggle to cock that up.

Feyenoord have already beaten United once, they are top of the Dutch league with 28 points from 10 games and he'll have to rest players because it's the Europa league.

West Ham are bouncing back from their shit start and Bilic has turned that ship around, only conceded 1 in their last 3 games. By the end of November they'll be back to last season's form.

Everton - We saw how good they can be defensively 2 weeks ago, Koemann is making progress there.

Luhansk - Win and it means nothing. Lose and it's a catastrophe, the worst possible game before Spurs and it's 3,000 miles away

Spurs - simply much better than United.

4 league games - I think they'll get 3 or 4 points and be 15 behind the leaders by the end.

I actually think they might struggle to beat Burnley this weekend coming up. There is an interesting table doing the rounds at the moment, kms run by each PL team, Burnley are quite near the top, Utd are 20th! (Having Ibrahimovitch up front doesn't help, I guess). Burnley had a good win last weekend and also beat Liverpool early in the season.

Trouble is, part of me wants this thing to drag out, they picked PEG and some say they should have done after 'SAF retired, but the Mirror report today and the whole thing about him living out of a hotel, (crazy when he could just buy a decent house with cash in his bank) and hire a copter to take him to his family every now and again, makes me think he is losing the plot. I want PEG to take Utd down to the relegation zone (as he did with Chelsea) but ideally over the whole season, not by Xmas.

I find it staggering that a multi millionaire bloke in his 50s would live in a hotel. Why does he not just buy a fucking 'apartment' (posh flat) somewhere. He could even call it that god awful pretentious phrase, 'crash pad'. Even those over paid business types who commute a lot do it, so Im sure one of the highest paid managers in the highest profile sport in the world could do it. Its pocket change to him. If hes miserable living like Alan Partridge, its his own fault. I hope he's got his own plate to take down for breakfast too.

Well if we beat them tonight, the Burnley and Swansea games becomes so, so important leading into the run I posted above. I think they'll get 6 points but It really wouldn't be crazy if they lost points to burnley who were great against Spurs and already did a job on Liverpool.

They won't fire him though, not this season. He might quit though if it does disintegrate like Chelsea last season.

I realise that it was a supplementary amount but my question relates to how it is viewed by say UEFA, is it seen as just 89 or has the agents fee got to be taken into consideration as well?
I assume the media would add it on for City and omit it for say any other team.

Is it too cynical of me to think he's only living in a hotel instead of renting a posh apartment because it's a handy fall back excuse? The guy goes to extraordinary lengths to make excuses, but this might be a bit far. But as you say, I can't see any reason at all why he'd still be in a hotel otherwise. He's known he'll be the United manager for about 6 months now
 
It is all very strange, i would assume he has marital issues. He has long wanted this job so it seems highly improbable him and his wife never discussed the possibility of moving north to Manchester. If that is wrong then he has gone to extreme lengths to leave himself an 'out'. It all seems very strange at any rate.

Of course i wanted it to go pear shaped for them but if this carries on it will have superseded anything i had imagined, a lot sooner than i thought also.
