They'd lose 50m total, 25m for the second year they miss it, 25m for the third year. And that 50m would be spread across the remaining years.
Have you read this mate ? What happens if they get in every other season does the 30% kick in once its activated or has it got to be 2 consecutive seasons always ?

Had a nice chuckle over breakfast this morning reading the M.E.N..

"Not since the fabled Class of 92 did United have such an array of talent in one single crop - Sam Johnstone, Michael Keane, Ravel Morrison, Pogba and Jesse Lingard."

Talent? I must be reading it wrong....

I wonder what Pogba thought when he came back 5 years after that youth FA Cup win and Johnstone still hasn't made an appearance for United.

His contract expires in 2018....I wonder if he'll ever play for them?

That would be the Sam Johnstone who, at 23, has never made an appearance for the rags, the Michael Keane who made one appearance for them before they let him go for peanuts, the Ravel Morrison who made zero appearances for them before being fucked off to allow his career to fizzle out, the Pogba who they sold for peanuts and bought back for a world record fee and so far has only confirmed why GPC got rid of him in the first place and Jesse Lingard who's absolute shite.

What the fuck are the M.E.N. on?

The way they are heading, the only Johnstone of interest in Trafford will be the fcukin Paint Trophy.

Bribes I suspect.

Drugs. In a crystal meth stylee. And lots of it.

I'm told united have got some decent kids around the 18 age bracket, but below that they're totally shot imo. If they address that straight away (which they won't) it will take them the best part of a decade to turn it round. They got lazy and complacent- and it's hilarious to watch.

But that would involve strategic thinking - arguably the thing they have lacked most of all in recent times.

(Apart from class, humility and good grace.)

Tell me they didn't actually write that?

I believe that the GPC still holds some kind of influence over the swamp: he's still pulling the strings and if the board can't or won't see it then good, much mirth all around.

They are now a debt-ridden club with no kind of stability, and apparently no long term business plan either. It seems their only strategy is to spend big on high profile players at the start of every season. Put the player on a weekly wage that would clear the national debt of some south American banana republic, and if he doesn't work out by May, flog him at a a loss and buy another one, same terms and conditions. Obviously NO business can survive like that.
