United (a) post-match thread

The team selection was poor.
Walker and mendy should have played.
Sterling for jesus
Anyway lets not lose hope, we will come baco stronger, we lose the title because of our defense.
Next year we should buy two strong central defenders. Before that lets cheer and suport our CITY.

You can't take one game to form that opinion. Generally speaking we are way ahead and that was reflected today in the overall performance: in that Pep clearly wasn't that arsed about it. He has bigger fish to fry.

Never going to appease the fans but that's how he sees it.
If Pep isn't arsed about beating United, there's something wrong.

It’s simple to me, I look for combos.
Zin and sterling = shite
Cancelo and Foden = shite
Gundogan and Rodri = shite

These combos don’t work.
All are subs at best.
Sterling is the most overrated player I’ve ever seen at city. If he came from Manchester and through the youth, he’d be released and no fucker would bat an eye.
Ederson had one today and that’s all.
Pep had one today. “So so pleased”.
Sterling, Foden, and Rodri are subs... at best?

Interesting how well do you thing Aguero played ? since he is one of the few you have not mentioned, how many shots did he have? any on target? as that is his job, at least Sterling and Foden tried to win by shooting and on target.
It was a fustrating game they started with 6 defenders 2 defensive midfielders 1 attacking midfielders and 1 striker at home, and were not in the game until the ref gave them 2 non existent fouls

Looking at the VAR replay I thought it was a good goal he scored also Dean appeared to be too easily conned in to some calls with the rags throwing themselves to ground.
Piss poor performance all round though including Pep.

End of season feel and a team selection clearly made with future games in mind, not the end of the world, we’ll finish second regardless of today.

I was in their hospitality today and they were absolutely buzzing with that victory in the manner we used to when they were streets ahead of us. We’ve come a long way, and we’ll still be ahead of them for a good while yet.
Things change very quickly in football.

One signing has made a huge difference to them, and we have allowed them to build momentum.

Yesterday if we had beaten them , it would have made champions league qualification difficult, as it is they have a very good chance.

If they qualify and make a couple of good signings they will be in the mix next season, even little Ole is looking like a genius.

It doesn’t really get mentioned much now , Agueros goal looked good but aren’t they supposed to keep the flag down on close ones & let var sort it out or does that depend on what team it is ? Their goal was also close to offside but strangely the flag stayed down ...did var even look at it ? We’re so used to getting fucked over by var we just accept it now.

I thought Martial was offside but it was tight as the ball was not kicked it was scooped, but then i do not believe it was a foul either as for Aguero`s goal strange how the line goes right through the utds players foot?,amazing how the lines man picked that out? he took it well though
