United (a) post-match thread

We'll sort this in the summer. I said last year that defence would be our undoing, that & a frightening lack of pace.

I was surprised by the line up in truth, as it resembled a selection I'd expect playing Norwich at The Etihad. We bossed the game in terms of possession, but it was possession without a purpose.

Playing 5 at the back in defence, & 3 at the back in attack totally flummoxed us, & we didn't have an answer. With Barca, Pep had world class match winners who would make a difference in a game like today's. But today our two match winners in Sterling & Aguero, were totally nullified.

I just want us to concentrate on 2nd, & the cup competitions. This summer will tell a lot as to where we go from here. I've seen a look in Pep's face that this situation won't happen again....

We're 12 points ahead of ManUre, with a game in hand, so fuck em!

Bent is what it is , lost in our shit performance
That is very true and also true of our first game with utd, too many people thinking we were crap because utd were better, nah just cheated just like Everton last week, liverpool have won the league thanks to SKY now they want a CL place for utd, otherwise SKY the FA and utd could lose anything up to 25% of their income

All true & why i won’t be re-newing next season

Not really surprised about the result - I just did not think we would get anything without Kev.
I was surprised that it was Eddie that cost us the game - pissed off but still lots to play for this season ctid
there is no reason whatsoever to think we couldn't get a result without kev.

Went for a walk when that pointy faced prat gave that free kick for nothing. He blew then because Kun was looking away. We need a killer up front and Alfie Haaland’s lad looks just what is needed. Sell Sterling and offer whatever Dortmund want for him. Top striker with youth added.

Cheers City, we now have to put up with utter tripe like this until the end of the season.

Henry Winter.

Early days, plenty of hurdles to overcome etc but you can see foundations being laid by Solskjaer with this #mufc, can see the identity of the team building. Hunger, pace, toughness, teamwork. Bruno Fernandes the catalyst; brings ideas, belief & a touch of that old United swagger

Pass me the fucking sick bucket!

To be fair i think they have run that one out every time they have won a match, which is why you may not have seen much of it for a few years
