United (A) | Post Match Thread

Just watched the Brighton v dipper game. Apart from the result which i happily chuckled at it was the way Brighton played. Quick passing, guile and an end product. Reminded me of City not too long ago. What i will say is I think we have now hit our lowest level for now and fully expect us to push on and still with this league.

“Thought I went a bit early so I didn't run. If I ran for the ball I would have just took it or shot or passed. I thought I was offside so I didn't touch the ball," Rashford said.

"That's all I can do in that situation and then it's up to the referee and linesman. In my opinion I wasn't involved in the play. I felt like it should have stood."

What a complete load of lying bollocks!!!
Before var we would all troop back to the pub after the game and mooan about the ref robbing us out of a result but be optomistic about the next game, now, it seems football authorities the world over have come up with a racket that allows them to produce the results they want. Suppose that game was a title decider and the var officials decided to blatantly ignore their own rules, I wonder how the affected clup and supporters would react?

He was not interfering as its interpreted in the new rules,it was a legitimate goal.

Those of us who are old skool and see offside as offside, and anyone who is on the pitch is classed as interferring, are either gonna have to accept this new bollocks or find a different past time.

Defenders are just gonna have to take it all into account and keep defending until any danger has passed.

It fucking stinks but that is the law.
How can Rashford not be interfering with play when the ball is played towards him & he steps over the ball. He's interfering with the defenders decision on who to pick up.
