Yes Phil didn't get the opportunity to interfere with play or touch the ball.Yeah, funny how Phil being potentially fractionally offside needs to be flagged immediately, but Rashford being 10 yards offside needs to be allowed to play on to see “if” he interferes with play.
No it's not. The poster i replied to said that something along the lines of that something was a fact...hence why I wrote " if you want yo start talking about facts"........Your opening statement is a downright lie. Your first response to me was, it’s your opinion, not a fact.
Why should I put you on ignore? A flip flopping idiot who can’t recall what he typed yesterday is highly entertaining. I know you wouldn’t lose any sleep. Those on the edge of spectrum’s rarely do.
Fully agreeOpinion mate - the laws allow discretion - it's the Ref's opinion that counted (obviously) - that's why VAR did not intervene. That said, in my opinion it's 'impossible' for him not to affect the outcome!
That's what should be clearly identified in a letter of protest. Swiftly followed by you cheating scum bags.Yeah, funny how Phil being potentially fractionally offside needs to be flagged immediately, but Rashford being 10 yards offside needs to be allowed to play on to see “if” he interferes with play.
This is the clincher that it was a dishonest decision. How could Atwell overule the linesman, who had a much better view of what happened, without at least looking at the monitor. An honest referee can make a mistake and all he has to do to cover his back is check the replay. Some decisions stand out for decades as bent and this is one of them. There was a clear and obvious error, the Lino flagged offside because ragford interfered with the passage of play whilst being 33,000 miles offside.. non bent Ref goes to the monitor to overrule the Lino, if he’s not happy with the reason for the flag, then agrees he’s right…
This decision was 100% bent…!
Yep because you say so, you think all is good, I know the team have issues this season and we are not learning from them, I forgot guardiola is a demi god and beyond criticism, so you keep your everything is rosey in the garden blue glasses onStop reading.
I think Pep has certain tolerances for certain players. He won't allow all midfield to take risks , thats way too risky. Calculated risk allows KDB that freedom. Proble. Comes when oppo knows this and works like mad to close KDB down. Sacrifice space so when when say Bernie or Foden get it they feel restricted in playing that type of ball. No, it can be on the players.
I don't think for one minute Pep doesn't want them to play Erling in. Of course he wants them to be accurate with the passing and not give the ball away but the man is no fool. Pep knows you can't be successful with every pass / cross in the final third and he tries to get the players to be positioned to manage transitions to deal with that eventuality.
Whetehr Pep is emphasising enough to the players that they should take more risks, we don't know. Kev, who is our main creator, gives the ball away plenty trying things so I think the issue lies more with the players.
Also, teams are simply making it very difficult for City, they are often well organised, highly committed and defending in such numbers that it is really tough for our players to play people in.
City have a puzzle to solve and it's not an easy one. Part of me thinks we may need to do something radical and change several of our players in order to allow Pep to produce a new variant of his basic model of football, which I still believe is a good one and definitely one I favour.
All goid managers keep away from public slatungs. Never ever helps doing that. Better to sort of wind up the really annoying meejaStarting to get a little annoyed about how our players and manager once again is telling everyone how incredible proud they are over our performance, that we deserved to win, that we played great etc etc. We just lost to a rags side that is levels below us in quality and only managed 1 single shot on target. We have 2 wins in our last 5 PL games and I would like to hear how thats not good enough, this is unacceptable etc etc. If you really played that well, you wouldnt need to tell everyone you did. If this is what they consider to be "playing great" then I'm really worried about where this season is headed. I was hoping someone would step up and have a Fernandinho style intervention meeting about our poor performances lately, but instead what I hear is "I'm proud of the team today" after losing to a team we scored 6 on the last time.
Pep is the best in the business and he will sort this out eventually. But I'm not liking the attitude or determination I see on the pitch, or hear in interviews at the moment. We need to change things up in the squad more than usual in the summer.
