For me, it’s Grealish over Foden now. Grealish drives forward, whereas Phil seems frightened to do the same. What’s happened to Phil?

Agree about yesterday but v Everton we looked better once Phil came on.

I think this re-confirms to me I hate losing to the rags more than losing to liverpool.

Different sides of the same coin those two. Hate them both equally.

My question is:
Why is it always us on the receiving end of a loophole goal where they have to change the rules or where those scenarios will never happen again?
Our performance levels will never matter if we concede goals like this, or score goals disallowed for ridiculous reasons.

Such a frustrating game that. I thought we were the better team overall but the game was decided by the ref. There's very little we can do about the inept refs.

However, the problem was we created very little and Haaland was completely anonymous. I did wonder whether we should fine to a 4-6-0 once we scored.

It's another game where - like Real last season - we cracked. How many games have we had where one "shock" goal leads to another FFS. We've never gripped that problem.

Personally I didn’t like all the ”chumminess” in the tunnel before they came out and even at the end Cancelo was smiling away on hand shaking.I don’t expect the players to despise them like we do but guys like Mike Doyle would be having none of that stuff.
