But that makes him in possession and therefore interfering. You don’t have to touch the ball to have possession of it.Shielding it from who? There was no one near him!

What are you expecting ? Us to get the quad every season and to be invincible?Pep has been brilliant for us but it's been stale for a while now, we need change
Power corrupts and Absoute power corrupts absolutely. We were the by far the better side and if “that” goal wasn’t given we would have seen it out with a professional performance. It is disgraceful.
That game was handed to United by inept decision making - it is that simple. It is not on Pep, nor the players, and at the time of the goal, City were significantly the better team.
Set up the goal. None of this is about players. Everything is about tactics. everything. We need to drop KDB. We played without him in the 20/21 season and we can do it again
Agree with everything here apart from Cancelo. Thought he was one of our better players tbhNot a great performance by any means but every decision in that game went for them. In control until that ridiculous decision to overturn the offside decision for their first goal. Think Pep and the team were hard done by.
Not even sure about their second goal tbh.
Cancelo needs binning off - his refusal to keep the possession by playing a simple pass to a team mate was incredibly annoying. Thinks he's the main man but he kept losing the ball. De Bryune had one great moment but for everything else looked terrible and basically not fit enough. Bernardo needs to go in the summer - his heart is clearly not in it or up for the battle. Rodri head and shoulders our best. Foden looked like a lost boy and fails to get into the game (mainly due to Cancelo not passing to him) and Haaland sees so little of the ball in the box it's almost criminal.
Attwell and VAR did their job today. Royally fucked us over.
