United (A) | Post Match Thread

So fucking what? We are not going to win trophies every season. We had the season when the dippers ran away with it and everyone was bloody doom and gloom.
We got shafted and robbed today or otherwise it would have been a good win in a hard game. We're having a tough time getting the football flowing and like any other fan I'm giving my views on how to improve, But writing the team off is stupid

That’s exactly what this team is built for and why we’ve got the best (but also the best paid) manager.. to win trophies.. every fucking year.

Sat back after the goal instead of going in for the kill. One shot on target all game. Fell apart after a disgraceful decision went against us. Rodri great the rest below par….. I said it weeks ago we are fighting for top 4 now not the title. No doubt the happy clappers with abuse me.
Disagree on every point you make lol

United are genuinely shite. They played a Mourinho iteration and were fortunate the referee gave them decisions.

We were nowhere near our best but even so notwithstanding the referee we win that at a canter. It's a decision you will never see again. If it happened for us the inquisition would be already out there by the press.

I do wish Pep had more backbone though. Contrast the penalty Martial got in the reverse fixture to the ones not given or even checked today.

Like I say, United are genuinely crap. I can't wait for us to beat and slap them at the next opportunity.

Right, am still spitting Mad about the result and the offside

BUT what I liked from the game and the 2nd half was the way we went back to the old shape and setup,
yes, the first half was going to be hard finding the old shape and players from that dodgy way of playing with 3 at the back and one full back,

this is why I think pep missed a trick in the league cup and play the same system, so we could learn the old shapes and players runs and movements,

I think we are almost back to a proper setup and players and finding their form and fitness again, but boy, what a kick in the balls that goal was ? it killed us dead on the spot, completely turned the game, our heads went big time.

painful to watch and take, but we are and have been hurt so many times before only to get something from the lesson and turn it to our advantage, with fewer games to play than half of the season and more points behind the leaders we stood tall, walked the walk, and won the title

blue moon you saw me standing alone

Good bad cheated robbed in control offside broadside 442 451 scum run KDB my city
Result apart we are CTID and that’s all that is important.

I am still livid.. for the life of me I can’t see how anyone can legitimately say Rashford did not completely interfere with play from on an offside position.. it is cheating and the whole world witnessed it.. We should issue a club statement aimed at the referee and FA asking for an explanation as to why it was allowed to stand. And keep pushing until we get one.

We won’t though.

Let’s bin the handbags.

Reckon both of you are talking about two different incidents, hence the drastically conflicting view.

Eddie saved a Rashford 1v1 chance and also made a poor decision to run out for a separate chance that Akanji blocked on the line.

Yet all we will hear this week is various talking heads tying themselves in knots trying to justify it.

If we go back to being shit it will be just like most of the time I have supported the team, mid 1950’s until now.

We have been truly spoilt since the takeover.
This is the issue I have. Becoming shit again isn’t going to take the love of the game away from me.

Being obviously cheated will, though.

No problem.
From now on all you have to do is leave a player well into offside position then let active players ignore that player and play the ball towards onside players.
Well done United nothing today with players positions and everything to do with touching the ball.

No handbags here mate I just know the fucking rules.

Hmmm, wonder if motd will follow the narrative that fish fingers was clever to leave the ball for rat-o-van?
