Injuries have fucked us at the back this season and the whole basis for our play is different.

If there is one single thing that might – I say might – cost us the title it is this having to chop and change in central defence all the time. It cannot be a good thing. We've been leaking goals all season. It's not only down to central defence, of course, but it's a significant part of it.

What is it with Stones and injuries? It seems he only has to sneeze and he pulls a hamstring. Very frustrating as he's one of our best CBs. With him and Dias out, I guess it'll be Laporte and Ake tomorrow.

We'll know how the game will go after the first ten minutes. If we come out playing at a tempo we'll take some stopping, come out playing slow sideways and backwards passing then it will be a long afternoon

Agreed but Cancelo, even though out of form, performs that role better than Ake who is not a left wing back full stop. And as others have alluded, Cancelo will deal better with Anthony’s cutting in onto his right foot.

Difference of opinion I wouldn't trust him to mark a blind 90 year with gout.
