United Airlines - Passenger removal

As above.
Once he'd been selected he was getting off the plane.
His subsequent refusal brought it on himself.

Wonder if some of the people saying it is ok for them to drag him off think it is ok the way some showsec staff treat city fans?

I thought he was a doctor flying out to see some patients the following morning? No surprise to see Gelson sticking up for the airline company. They're fucked, regardless of support from some members of Bluemoon.

The airline can refuse to carry anyone they please. This is fact. The other 3 volunteers got $800 and a night in a hotel. When no one else volunteered they chose a passenger. It was him. He now was no longer being asked to volunteer he was being asked to get of the aircraft. He made such a scene that the cops were called.

All his own doing I'm afraid.
I once made £1000 by volunteering to be offloaded from 3 consecutive flights. A very pleasant afternoon that was, with no injuries.

Rank incompetence by the airline. If they were going to play hardball they should never have allowed him on the plane.

I don't get you guys. This is the airlines fault end off. they chose to send four crew on the last flight out of O'Hare and traumatise a passenger plus do untold harm to their reputation.

the airline had lots of options

1). they could have sent the crew on one of the earlier flights operated by another airline.

2) they could have routed them via the flights out of Midway.

3). they could have increased the money until they got four volunteers.

4). they could have put the staff in a limo and drove there (its an hour 15 by plane plus check in time)

5). they could have paid the money and sent the passengers by Limo.

Gelsons Dad et al saying it is the passengers fault are disgusting.
