The "Council House" jibe is my favourite!

I love it. Most of the rags that spout it probably live in council houses and a large percentage pay rates that contribute to our council house. Just tell em to keep paying their rates.

I don't know why they are so bothered. its not like it's even their council. nothing to do with Trafford or Ealing.

I always say that I'm proud we're in the "Council House". It shows we're part of the community.
Plus the fact we pay our business rates to Manchester Council and the rags pay theirs to Stretford or wherever. I think Manchester Council should apply to make them remove "Manchester" from their title.
