United game postponed due to bomb scare

A "controlled explosion" is usually a high pressure jet of water or bolt to separate the 'detonator' from the 'explosive' as opposed to an actual explosion.
Well, whatever. Rather than owning up, they treated a bomb that they knew wasn't a bomb like it was the genuine article.

This is a smokescreen. Whoever was initially responsible for leaving this device, the fact that they let it sit there for four days was down to the rags .... as their local MP pointed out in her public letter to them. It was taped to a bog door and they let thousands of people into the stadium. If their security protocol was all it was supposed to be, how the fuck was the device not found and why would you need a dog to notice a fucking bomb taped to a door.But because its the scum, their scummy sidekicks in the media refuse to ask the most obvious questions.What a joke.

It proves they don't search the stadium properly pre match. That device was large and you wouldn't miss it if you searched properly.Also as I said earlier if those toilets were open to the public from say 1pm how come no one noticed it until 2:45 pm?

Well I'm sure any potential terrorist watching this unfold is truly bricking it and has definitely crossed Old Trafford off their list of potential targets. To find a bomb within only 5 days of it being left somewhere is clearly impressive, the place is bordering on a fortress

Souness seems suspicious about it, having being frisked on entry to the stadium for the first time, and with this in mind then maybe it was really an evacuation exercise to see how quickly 50k+ people could be evacuated from a stadium.
But they already know that information from the six-one.

It seems they've made an arrest

Sky's agenda (probably discussed during yesterday's matches would have made good listening;

"Right, things we need to discuss about the final run in -

  1. We had to delay Super Sunday's Tottenham Hotspur v Manchester United on 10th April because the away team arrived late, throwing the schedule into disarray. Verdict - unpreventable and completely understandable. There is no way United could have foreseen the traffic being bad in London.
  2. We had to delay the Football Special - West Ham v Manchester United Farewell to the Boleyn on May 10th because the away team arrived late despite the same thing happening 30 days earlier and being specifically asked to be at the stadium by 4pm on that day, throwing the schedule into disarray. Verdict - unpreventable and completely understandable. The players were clearly traumatised on the wicked witch of the west lookalike Jesse Lingaard's home video. They had panda pops lemonade all over the windscreen causing the driver to miss the stadium.
  3. We had to cancel Super Sunday's Manchester United v Bournemouth on 15th May because the home team didn't make their own stadium safe for use by the general public, throwing Tuesday's schedule into disarray. Verdict - It was the security firm's fault. United excecuted a perfect evacuation and it was quite nice covering the Premier League from the car park.
  4. Manchester City's decision to get the point they needed to clinch 4th place with minimum fuss completely ruined our coverage of the final day of the Premier League throwing Martin Tyler's planned speech into disarray. Verdict - show the fuckers no mercy. Unleash Carragher and Henry. Martin was planning to shout "Rooney!"
