Surprised it's not been mentioned in the media but the safety of employees and fans ultimately sits with the CEO. If anything would have happened, I assume Ed would be facing corporate manslaughter charges.

Maybe one of our legal experts can confirm.

If, as stated, the 'fake' bomb had no explosive scent with it why on earth does it actually need to look realistic?

If the exercise is just about effective searching then couldn't a simple envelope (possibly with a scent if they did want to aid the dogs in their training), have been secreted somewhere in the stadium with the words BOMB clearly written on it have been used or were there no envelopes left after they'd already filled them with their 'backhanders'?

What proof was given to the club that these were just training devices. It wasn't like he was just bringing in his butty box !!!
