United (H) | PL | Post Match Thread

Saw that result coming a mile off. When the penatly was given I turned to the guy next to me and said we'd end up losing this game.

Concede so many goals from fucking about with it at the back and they never learn. Too slow and predictable. No desire to seek out the 2nd goal ourselves and take off the only player (KDB) with any fire in his belly. Nobody presses any more apart from him.

Utd are fucking awful, as was their support. Worst of either at the Etihad this season and to lose to them is beyond infuriating.
At least 2 goals per game it seems. We need a 3 goal start.

They wanted the club to play like this from from u5s to senior and everything in between. Its been sussed. Probs sussed last season but we got away with it on account of arsenal having no bollocks.
But there is a massive issue with football snobs who think thats how football HAS to be played. Says who????

My sons u10s league.. you arent allowed to play long from the back from goal kicks. Its a snobbery that football has to be played this way

odd really
My daughters team is the same u10s, Keepers aren't allowed kick the ball out of their hands and also not allowed kick long from a goal kick.

The ball always has to be played to either full back from a goal kick and keep playing around the back until an option becomes available.

To be honest they are a really good team, Funnily enough the teams that cause them problems are the ones who go long and panic sets in with the players they really find it difficult in those situations.

A truly woeful second half performance, we are hell bent on shooting ourselves in the foot. Game after game we are making basic errors.

Big names need dropping - we simply cannot accommodate so many players that can’t get around the pitch. If that means one or two young lads starting then so be it.
That's one of the annoying things for me during this dismal run - none of the fringe or Academy players have got any meaningful minutes or experience that could serve us well in the future - when hopefully we come out of this crash. McAtee, O'Reilly, Wright or Simpson-Pusey are no further on with their City careers than they were two months ago.
