Didnt really pick up on that, possibly in the back of his mind is getting another long term injury ? His ability is not in question, but it wont be helpful if what you mention is happening
nt disagree he looks worried about getting hurt but he can’t play that way it killed us both games.

So you are a football genius? You know Pep made it possible? I bet you were thinking how brilliant his tactics were at half time but then you turn into a moaning fucker at the end, fucking grow a pair and take it for what it is.
I must be a football genius because when i heard the line up i knew we'd struggle. Then at half time i said i hope he changes it . It was as clear as day. Perhaps not to the likes of you but to a level headed honest fan it is.

Love Vincent but his passing out defence is now woeful. Puts us under so much pressure. Time for John Stones to find that early season form again?

Like many I simply cant get my head around what went wrong. For the third time conceded three goals within 15 minutes. Fragile characters?
A combination of one misplaced pass by Fernandinho that led to the first goal, and Pogba deciding to show why Utd paid £90m for him by playing like a world class player for TWO MINUTES. Nobody would have stopped him scoring that second, it was a phenomenal header. Funnily enough, the second Ferna gave it away I thought "this is where it all starts to go wrong"- and I was right.

I haven't seen a replay of the game (apart from the pen & Fernandinho yellow card) & was too involved in the atmosphere 1st half, to make rational judgement, but 2nd half it seemed to me that if City had one more player of Fernadinho's type, it would have pretty much ended Utd's ability to set up attacks.

Gundogan isn't that player & isn't as good as either Silva going forward, so I really think we need to consider his position next season.

Great goal though & still we should have won by about 4 clear goals irrespective.

Spot on. Dunno if you were at game yesterday but I felt like there was no atmosphere from the ko second half, it was flat even before they scored. I’m not one to usually bemoan stuff like that but yesterday given the context it was very poor.
It seemed like half the ground were late back to seats and it was silent when the second half kicked off.

After the brilliant atmosphere in the first half, that is a huge disappointment.

Yes. It's interesting to compare the responses to this derby to when we beat them at OT in April 2013. I know this had the added spice of the 3-goal comeback. But back in 2013, we weren't acting like we'd done anything amazing like the Utd fans are still doing this morning; and they weren't that bothered about getting beat like we are now. Everybody understood it was a minor consolation prize before Utd won the title. I think this is a combination of Utd fans having now acquired a small-club mentality, and some City fans still struggling to shake off theirs. We should be offering them a patronising "well done" on delaying the inevitable for a couple of weeks, exactly like they did to us back then.

For me, this was my biggest City game in my lifetime, and it probably was for a couple other people as well. I`ve been a City fan for 11 years (I`m only 17), and I have never stopped supporting them, regardless of the results. After losing a game to the rags, everyone should be allowed to be disappointed. Especially when we`re twice the team

Of course people are allowed to be disappointed. They're allowed to be gutted and raging and upset and express that anger however they like, but calling the manager and the players every name under the sun and saying it's the worst moment in City's history and undermining all the incredible performances and success we've enjoyed this season is on another level (not talking about you directly, just a lot of other posters). When we win, he's a genius. When we lose, he's the scum of the earth. Everything seems to be black and white with modern football fans. Mistakes can be made and big games can be lost without the need to start insulting the manager and asking the players to hand back their wages and talking about disgraces and black marks on our history that will "never be forgotten".

We're all disappointed, of course we are, but it's beyond myopic to start turning on Pep and the squad after two bad games, even if those games had a huge amount of importance. We've broken records, we've been brilliant, we've won a cup and the league is in the bag (it's laughable that some people are suddenly doubting that after yesterday). We've got one final shot at major glory on Tuesday night. It's a faint hope but it's a hope all the same, and after all the happiness and pride we've experienced this season thanks to our manager and our team, I think they deserve a little more respect. I'll be cheering them on on Tuesday and whatever happens I'm gonna look back on this season as one of the best I've had the pleasure of experiencing.

Ive not analysed or watched the game back as of yet, didn't agree with the team selection but stil it was was working and we made them look like garbage. But Pep should've changed it earlier second half at 2 v 2. A victory and being champions would of given us so much momentum going into Tuesday, now its going to be flat.
