United (H) Post Match Thread

Some of the arrogance from us on this site over the last few weeks building up to this game has been really poor to see. I think some people are a bit deluded at times.

They were the better team today and really if Martial had scored that chance to make it 0-3 we wouldn’t have been able to have any complaints about a 0-3 score line at home to these cunts being flattering.

We were disgraceful from 0-95!

Cancelo
Rodri
de Bruyne
Mahrez defensively (wasn’t too bad offensively, but still didn’t really do owt)
Sterling
Jesus
...were all fucking appalling!

So was Pep.

Foden did more in 15 minutes today than Sterling has in 23 games against United. Foden gave Wan Bissaka a torrid time in the EFL Cup semi, Sterling hasn’t given Wan Bissaka a torrid time for a single second in any game Ive seen.

Bernardo has been our best player in the last 6 weeks and he didn’t get a minute on the pitch!

I’m sick to death of losing to these cunts at home, sick to fucking death of it!

Hang your heads in shame City. Will take me until the next time we play to get over this!
Sterling FFS he's invented his very own how to miss an open goal show ! I simply cannot believe how many chances he misses. Jesus what the f was he doing ?

What’s with the very, very slow break away play? No speed at all. Never score a goal going at that pace, gives them a chance to re-group to defend.
I know mate - does my head in. Remember the days when Hart played it to Fern, fern to David Silva, Silva to Aguero and it was in the back of the net in 10 seconds. Or even Ederson to Ferna, Ferna to KDB and KDB to Sane?

We seem to contol games much more now, but have completely lost that dynamism and cutting edge.

Well that’s the last time I read a pre match thread on Derby day.
“we will hammer them”
“6 or 7 goals”
I will forgive that performance even against the rags after the season we have had, the players are entitled to an off day.
I reckon we will pick ourselves up midweek and just get on with it till it’s won.

De Bruyne had his worst match in a City shirt. Some our play was turgid and slow. Certainly had some chances — Sterling, Foden, Rodri — but we bottled them. I was surprised Foden and Aguero didn’t start. Worst thing that could have happened was to gift them a pen in the first minute, which allowed them to play their game. I hope this makes us hungrier as opposed to denting our confidence, and reminds us how good we were/can be, but that mistakes and complacency can bite us at any time against anyone. Will be much worse of a loss if we learn nothing.

These sitters that Sterling is regularly missing, is an embarrassment. I would have fancied myself to have put that away, and I'm waiting for a hip replacement! As for Tyler and Neville on commentary, it was nauseating, and I listened to the last 20 minutes with the volume off.
