It wasn't unnecessary, it was the right idea that just had a little too much on it. The ball was in the utd corner flag at that point so them scoring from it was down to far more than Grealish giving up possession.

Yeh, that's fair. We did get players back which should have been enough to prevent the goal but Walker being pulled to the side gave him a small opening and was a decent finish tbf.

Ederson was magnificent. We actually struggled to get out from the base of our midfield for quite a while, but Eddie just started clipping passes over the top and out to the full-backs.

Grealish is really gonna come good.

Agreed. Ederson is so composed and intelligent with his passing in those situations, it really is like having another outfield player.

Not only did Grealish play well going forward, but he worked hard and made a couple of crucial challenges in defensive positions. I agree, he'll be a great player for us.
