Think that was all started well before Royle came anywhere near the club
Started certainly, but Royle had a while with no sign of fixing it. York away released a lot of flack, and Royle signed Andy Morrison.
 
I had to google that, as I found it very difficult to believe that the Glazers would okay such a transfer (negligible sell on fee, I'm guessing; certainly wouldn't make money on him). It's bloody true. 60m, plus 10m in add ons.

The Glazers have pretty much backed every manager to the hilt but the rags don't seem to want to put the blame for incompetence on anybody else
 
The only thing that tarnished my day was i had a tenner at 35/1 for a 5-1 win, it was 5-1 with half an hour to go, anyway checked out early and picked up £106 ! Not a chance City weren't going to score again in that half hour!

It's this kind of haphazard galacticos approach to transfers that have landed them in the shit they're in.
