On a serious note, I think the title is already in the bag for you guys given you are 1/4 to retain it on Betfair (implied probability of 80%). Nearest currently is us with an implied probability of 10%. As much as I’d prefer we were closer than that, it’s hard to not agree with it. Haaland is a beast.

I am a city fan. Meaning Paranoia is on unearthly levels. The title is never in the bag.

He took those players off to protect them for future games.

Of those he brought on, Laporte needs minutes because he is coming back from injury.
Palmer needs minutes because he is trying to establish himself in the first-team squad.
Ditto Álvarez
Mahrez needs minutes because he hasn’t been playing much lately.

The game was won, and the clean sheet had gone and the rags knew they’d been humiliated. It really didn’t matter and in the bigger picture, it was important to make those changes.

The rags tried their best but we were just outstanding.
We made them look shite.
Saying they were shite takes away from our wonderful performance today.

Ye exactly this, unfortunately it still pisses us off to even let them get 1 nevermind 3. I wanted us to create history today with their biggest ever defeat but I’ll take that we should them they are nowhere near us and won’t be for years.

Don’t forgot those substituted players are in middle of an intense run of games and have all been flogged by their countries last week and now facing 3 games in 6 days. The subs were the exact right thing to do.
