I remember the 90s Derbies vividly. Couple of Pyrrhic draws, but on the whole, wank. And I remember them regularly coming to Maine Road and dominating us. They were so much better.
But nothing remotely like that first 45 minutes.
We were like a tsunami. We absolutely destroyed them.
What a half!
yup just corrected the typo4*3=12
Gorton folk dream of living in Levenshulme.I know you do. It’s obvious from your interaction. Plus Levenshulme is next to Gorton.
Arsenal away when we won 3-0 after the Carabao Cup final is the best half of football I have ever seen.…deserves its own thread.

Like I said to the ‘we won the second half’, comment……tyler actually said the rag 3rd goal from the spot gave the result some respectability for the rags!
That’s simply not correct. Not tight AND even. Plenty of close results where they absolutely battered us. 1996 being one. And the time when they came back from 2-0 down to win via Keane - in 1993. They were far superior that day. On the pitch and mentally.90s derbies at Maine Road were tight even games on the whole bar 1.
