Had to laugh at that reply!
"The celebration lasted longer".
I thought we played in 2nd gear as the team knew they were shite. We stepped it up a gear just after half time and got the job done. A good training session for next weekend.Thought we were good without being brilliant but we’re deserved winners. To be fair to United, they were better than I thought they’d be and made it a tough final. They were very well organised but not hugely threatening bar three or four moments.
We started the game very well. Even besides the fantastic goal from Gündoğan, we played the first 15 minutes really well.
But what a goal it was!

Thunderbastard from Mr Whippy!
We got a bit sloppy through the middle half hour of the game but could have scored more.
John Stones was magnificent!
Traditional English Double winners. Brilliant, top day!
Whilst we're on a furniture related theme, you,ll luv this from the Guardian (article below)Saw a great quote earlier that bringing on Mctominay and Weghorst would have been more appropriate if they had a large couch to move up a flight of stairs than it was for having a cup final to win
Have to admit to being briefly very worried when I saw that with Rodri. I’m not sure if Eriksen was still on the pitch when it happened, but when you see a player just stop like that now, you do fear it could be something really serious.I just re-watched the second half and the Gundo's goal again, all those former United players just prove to be the bunch of crocodiles ready to turn against each other at any moment. Loathsome lot, all blaming de Gea, when he literally saw the ball only after it bounced off the ground for the second time. Keane, Schmeichel, Neville, etc, showing their true character.
Poor Rodders, he looked shattered around 65th minute, he lost the ball when going forward and he was gone for a couple of minutes. Pep saw it and he didn't even tried to reprimand him for that, he knows what he has done for us this season. I hope he'll be getting a cryogenic chamber treatment until next Saturday. But then mighty John Stones stepped in.
We walked past The Torch, albeit about 10:30, nothing. For all you Blues who was worried about Rags kicking off with us.
No need to worry.
We parked 30 mins away from stadium at the east side (Rags end) walking through 1000's of Rags. Received a few snide comments but nothing intimidating. The atmosphere wasn't anything like our previous encounters with them. Nothing like the Villa scum a few visits ago.
THE CITY IS BLUE CTID
Bloody glory hunter ;-)thuoght he was. a Watford fan considering he use to own them in the 1980's?
No problem with EJ at all (love some of his music) but what was he doing meeting the team at the airport...was it just by coincidence?
I don't watch the Rags unless we play them mate, such is my utter hatred for them, so I can't comment on that one.Agree with that but if they have removed uncertainty on the handball rule why did VAR not overrule the ref at West Ham when Lindlof handled the ball? They are still interpreting based upon who it is…..
