wondering how many of our players we'll see again in April once their broken legs have healed.

Basically given the Rags 90 minutes with no repercussions to scupper our season.

This.

Simon Stone has already penned his "Houston we have a problem" headline.

if the rags do scrape a win in this media circus game , wait for the headlines of their statement of intent for the coming season , Lukaku will be the last piece of the jigsaw and the swedish centre half Lindelbollockof will be the new Duncan Edwards , the usual shite. Would be good to see a few of our young lads given game time like Foden , Zinchenko , Adenaiyo and we can then concentrate on the serious stuff in August when all our squad is fit and available

I'm very worried about this tie they're just going to kick the living daylights out of us especially if we decide to play them off the park as usual. Silva x2, Jesus, Aguero, Sane should be nowhere near the pitch in my opinion. Who thought that this would be a great preseason game

Last time we played the rags in a pre season friendly it was the charity shield in 2012(this is a proper competitive game and a major trophy if you are a rag). They did go onto win the game and Rooney called it a 'footballing lesson'. We did go on that season to wipe the floor with them at old Trafford 6-1 and also win the league. I'd have a bit of that again if it means losing to them lot in the AON champions of the Universe trophy.

Careful , losing and derby should not be used in the same sentence , agree with your point though , let them have their day in the sun until December 9th , hopefully by then PEG would have fallen out with most of his squad and written and strong letter to the Premier league regarding fixture congestion.

And the Derby is in Houston? Has anyone been to Houston? Houston sucks, one of the worst cities in the U.S. dirty, smoggy, hot, humid, and endless urban sprawl. At least have the derby in Denver where we have clean mtn air, excellent place for players to train, and a million times better city than Houston.
And at a mile up they'll need oxygen tanks before the end of the first half
